Hi! My name is Rein te Winkel. I am 28 years old and I come from the beautiful Winterswijk-Meddo in the Achterhoek region. I have been working for many years as a Recruiter in the field of technology, specializing in machine building and manufacturing.
You probably see it in the title of my page: "Remote Recruiter". This means that I work from abroad. Currently, this is from Reykjavik, Iceland. But I have also worked from Budapest, Hungary, and while traveling. Discovering new places and cultures is a great passion of mine, and I am incredibly happy that I can combine this with the work that I have been enjoying for years, namely Recruitment.

My way of working

As a Remote Recruiter, I am not often physically present with my clients. This obviously requires a different way of working together. I have a close collaboration with my customers in which I receive and give a certain level of commitment.
This usually involves filling one or more vacancies in which I take over the process as much as possible: contact with hiring managers and other stakeholders, writing vacancies, posting vacancies, actively sourcing in the market, recruitment marketing campaigns, conducting intakes and managing of the application process.
Thanks to my years of experience in both agency and corporate recruitment, I know what is required from both sides. Personally, I am strong with digital systems, so I find searching and triggering candidates online extremely interesting. I am good at this and am constantly trying to improve. Just look at what AI has to offer for us recruiters! A lot is about to change!
